Wash, oil and colour - the full hair routine in one set

Three essentials from The Tribe Concepts that cover everything your hair needs across a month, from the oil that goes in before the wash to the colour you reach for every few weeks.

Organic Hair Cleanser - 150 g, two or three times a week
A powder shampoo made with soapberries, shikakai, amla, hibiscus and fenugreek. Mix four or five tablespoons with about a quarter mug of water into a pourable paste, work it from scalp to ends, massage for two to four minutes and rinse with plain water. It cleans without stripping, so hair is left soft rather than squeaky.

Onion Hair Oil - two or three times a week, before you wash
Red onion in a base of almond and virgin coconut oil. Stand the bottle in warm water first, apply from scalp to ends and massage for three to five minutes, then leave it an hour or two before cleansing. Hair is left feeling soft and easier to manage.

Hair Colour Kit - every few weeks
A two-step plant-based colour using Sojat henna and indigo, with no ammonia, PPD or lead acetate. Soak the henna overnight, apply to clean dry hair for at least an hour and rinse with plain water only, then follow with the indigo paste for forty-five minutes to an hour. Air dry, and leave the shampoo alone for two days afterwards.

All three are handmade in small batches with lab-certified herbs, and are vegan and cruelty-free. Suitable for every hair type, and for men and women.
